all the attention on the champions matches.personally i wouldn't touch the outright winner in the barca/arsenal match, check out the odds-they are long.i see potential draw.barca is terrific but arsenal @ home, especially in champions play has lost only once-ONCE!i'm rollin' big $$$ on the over.in the other matchup i definitely like inter, enough to play the goalline for a better payout.

very limited action after that.a coupla belgian matches but i'd only recommencd playing  fc brugge & anderlecht, especially like the odds on andy.

not alot i really like today.those champion league games-i guess i gotta like manu & lyon, lyon a bit more because they are home.i just don't have a great feel about these matchups.best play with those 2 matches is the over.

the rangers in the scottish league are a very good investment, even though they are the visitors.be bold and roll the goal line, i see a 2-0 victory easy.

beside that in the english league there are sopme decent faves.york city & luton and for an even better payout stevenage & acrington.

i'm hoping to cash in with hacken right now, they started at 1.

limited action but there are some solid plays today.everyone jumpin' on man city, and they should win @ home.let's hope they show up today cause to make any points you'll have to play the goal line.good plays can be had on kaiserslautern & bilbao, both home and favored.in the danish & swedish leagues 2 games stick out-both odense & orebro @ home again should win. still a young season so go with home clubs.finally some long shot action that i like.nottingham forest is a long shot v. newcastle at home, i'm surprised there's no goal line.i'll throw a little action that way-just in case & you know i love the forest.in france on fire lately club auxerre are definitely worhty of a play v. monaco @ home.they continue to impress.

lotsa early bird action today- burnley/blackburn @ 7 -looks like a draw, take the under dutch league-take all the faves, the usual suspects and give goals.psv, ajax, utrecht to nae a few.they are getting smart and not offering over/uner goals. ride the wave ogf the faves in italy serie A as well.napoli, fiorentina, sampdoria, juventus sound good for wins.

oooweee-the time just got away from me.i placed some wagers on ther home clubs in bundesliga 2, coupls winners there.really like Bursapor in the turkish league but looks ominous, down 2-0 @ half.good action to hit remaining;

olympic lyon in the french, i'm not so sure about giving up the goals however-long odds.

nac breda in the dutch is a fair play & sporting lisbon is worth  a gamble as well.

limited pitch play today.some cup games that aren't on the board and thats prolly a good thing as they are often a crapshoot.some danish play early on with real solid plays for Brondby & Midgtylland(sp), either straight up or give the goals w/ brondby.

swiss league action favors young boys & grasshoppers-who comes up with these team names anyhow?

and in the spanish primera powerhouse Real Madrid visits Getafe.call me crazy but i really like Getafe on the goalline getting 1.5 goals while at home.

i'm not touching the Juventus/Napoli match as i figure a low scoring draw, the under is a good play if available.

for a wednesday there is just a ton of action but for some reason only a few available plays merit attention.all the matches in Italian serie a scream potential draw to me except Inter, and then you'll hafta give some goals.same deal with Barca in the Spanish Primera, they'll prolly cover a 2 goal margin, anything more than that is risky.there is some cup action today but only Aston Villa in the FA cup is available to us-they are worthy of a play, let's hope they decide to play.Chelsea is another huge fave to win and should and needs to win, 2-0 perhaps-they have looked lackluster lately.i feel one of the best plays and my POD is MANCITY @ home @ -110.they have not lost in awhile, quite a few draws but i like them for the win at home.i'm going big!!!

alotta action today, especially in the english leagues.i'm not so sure how i feel about the premier league matchup, so 'll stay away.lotsa good plays in the lower leagues.i really endorse Nottingham Forest today, i'm goin' large with them-feel very confident.Ipswich also looks to be a favorable play.a personal fave is Swansea who has been playing good ball-don't understand the odds @ +185, worth the gamble.

in the Italian B league i like alotta teams most decent odds on favorites.action on Ancona, Torino, Empoli, and Lecce are worthy.a line i also don't get is Cittadella @ +230.this club has won their last 5 games-i'm on this as well.

last but not least a few big favorites who i feel absolutely will not loose today.Sevilla in the Spanish league, Stevenage in English, and Inverness in the Scottish.they all have long odds and will require major action to generate any points.

limited action today, at least in what's available to us here at fo' free.shortly after noon in the Czech league take Slavia Prague for the win, should cover 1-0, 2-0/take the under if you are feeling frisky.Bursapor in the Turkish league is a huge favorite and should easily dominate, give up the 1.5 goals to collect better @-115.In the English league Leeds continues to be a solid money play.

later on it's all nordic-take your pick.all solid plays depending ion your level of risk.Brondby from Denmark, Rosenborg from Norway, and from Sweden-Elfsborg & IFK.

early bird catches the worm and action.in the epl this AM manu gets an early start v. pool.pool has finally come around but you wanna be backing manu here as thay are @ home and just don't lose, perhaps 2-0/2-1. later on i'm loking both man city & chelsea, who i hope shows up to play. bundesliga action early, especially with good odds is visiting Schalke.very good form lately. wolfsburg later on are worth a try. back a little later with some closer to noon/afternoon plays.

per usual, lotsa action on saturday.i've built up the bankroll agin, mostly in part to some recent tournament successes.i'm not gonna list all my plays, heck you can just check 'em out & if you read on a daily basis you know the teams i really like & follow. started earlier and let's hope my beginning is a strong although they are down @ half 2-1(shoulda played the back-up over) is aston villa. picks of the day-real madrid, heavy favorites-i suggest giving up the goals and take the over. arsenal, same scenario. french league, auxerre-club has been lites out lately, winning everything.ml @ -175 and give up a goal @ +110. nottingham forest, not only a personal fave but in the hunt for league championship title and possible promotion-they will prevail. lastly i gotta throw this baby out there-in the dutch eredivisie, 2 powerhouses face off psv eindhoven v. twente enschende.psv is favored as they are at home but this game is gonna be close.i'm taking a flyer with twente, who have won 5-6 in a row, @ a ridiculous +310.grab a goal as well or half in case of the draw-i feel there is $$ to be made there. happy punting today folks fen signing out!!!

FRIDAY PITCH ACTION

for all you diehards, 2 days in a row no soccer on SFTC-bummer.a few good matches to choose from to mix it up with all the hardwood.Romanian league again with zagreb @ -185.if i had more points i'd be on it as some other result is gotta happen besides the 3 draws that have nailed me in this league, under a good play as well, if available.Turkish league with perpetual fave, cause they are one of the best clubs in the league with Besiktas @ -125.my 2 plays today are gonna be a trip to the Danish league with Horsens @ home, forgot the odds but they are respectable.and my personal play of the day in serie B is cittadella home @ -145.i don't see them losing this match at all.

so i realize the pitch is only secondary to the march madness but there is still some decent action.perhaps the best plays arein the Romanian League.the play of the day was early this AM when Timosora extinguished it's opponent 6-0.both with some long (favorable)  odds as their is no goal line available both Urziceni & Bucaresti are worth of action.both at home should win.

lotsa Euro cup action with some good clubs and even better odds.diffculty is that you never really know who the clubs will field and just how serious they are gonna take the game.cup games are always a crapshoot.both german cluba are worthy of attenmtion today-werder bremen & hamburg sv.i also like atletico madrid.juventus is a favorite of mine and they are +190, what's up with that?makes ya wonder.lastly is a rematch between liverpool & lille w/ pool heavily favored.y'all remember what happened last time correct-lille won outright.have pool turned a new leaf, they sure looked good in their last match.

well, we've got some nice games posted but no lines-whats the point?anyway i wish i could get on an early Romanian league game.really like home club, gloria bistrita for the W.later on in the swiss league the grasshoppers look tempting.newcastle is a big winner fave in english league, you'll prolly hafta give up goals.

in the uefa games, the only ones with lines up, i like barca & bordeaux.not so sure about the winning margin, barca should cover 2 goals.total goal plays would be over for the barca match & under for the french/greek match.

some solid action today-first things first.i'll be playing whats left of my meager points on the noon romanian league match with brasov @ -210.perhaps i'll save a little for the goal line. hope to win to get in later plays.in other action:

english leagues-premier - really like aston villa at +115, terrific odds.they should win handily.championship - the best play of the day is reading, home @ -120.my 2 fave clubs, swansea & nott forest both have tough matchups with some long odds although they are slightly favored.draws are definitely possible.conference - a terrific play is stevenage borough.crazy odds(-385), so give up the 1.5 goals and take the over.they should win by 3. league 1 - southhampton to win a decent odds.

be back with a UEFA report later/still no lines up, although i love chelsea to advance at home!

well geez, there were a couple more matches up earlier that i was to recommend but they are down now.like both atletico madrid & besiktas for the respective wins.liverpool will win today and big i believe, take the over & give away the 1.5 goals.my play of the day however is in conference 2 with notts county at home.good club playing lights out should win handily.gambling fools early-take the under in the czech game, i foresee a 1-0 victorty, hopefully for the visitors.and finally in italy serie b, grosetto at home with decent odds against a poor opponent.happy punting!!

gotta get up early to catch some action- bummer that a coupla matches i wanted in on @ 8-8:30 had unavailable lines. one, Rubin Kazan already came thru a winner bursapor in turkish league-another missed opp. EPL-i'm on manu, which has been firing on all cylinders lately.i'm not messin' with that crap(-430) ml and giving up the goals.the over @ -140 is a solid play as well. i'm on man city later on A noon or so-nice + odds as well. i'm rollin' a long shot in dutch eredivisie @ 9:30.heracles almelo v. feyernoord, please forgive the spellings.i see this as a potential draw with both clubs playing fairly well.feynoord is at home so they are definite faves, just call it a hunch i'm willing to try out for a big payday. perhaps more later

i'm gonna stick to 2 of the english leagues in this column, EPL & Championship. was really looking good with the spurs until they gave up a late goal, now the goal-line will be a push-lost points. birmingham city @ +220 is worth a gamble-been playing well lately i feel bolton revives itself @ home for the win v. wigan aston villa & chelsea are sure fire in my book, chelsea is crazy favored so give up the goals in champ league as always some of my favorite clubs who just happen to be doing well this year are nottingham forest & swansea,swansea is favored a good hunk-i'll double up and i like sheffield u as well. busy/busy maybe some french action this early afternoon

euro cup

euro cup action today with some decent plays.all money lines, so take it for what it's worth.some of the odds are long but all these teams should win.i personally favor atletico madrid, juventus, panathinaikos, & benfica.valencia is also a good play but i am wary as they have burned me once too often.the most enticing matchup is the liverpool/lille game.both have very good return odds(in the plus) and after pools last debacle, while also being away from home, i really like a gamble with lille @ +175.take a shot-you'll be glad you did!

so im a bit gun shy after yesterday's gunfight at the ok corral.a real wipeout for fen on the pitch, not proud to announce i lost 8500 points.but it's sorta like riding a bike and falling off, just gotta get back on.

uefa action-gotta like arsenal here, especially @ -160, feel brave and give up a goal for better return.in the other matchup-i just don't know, i sorta like fiorentina but not enough to endorse or play.

in english action-the EPL, i like bolton getting the .5 goal v. sunderland @ -130, heck they may win outright.in the lesser leagues although still english i like the following plays.leeds @ -115, notts county @ -125, and then one of my faves with long odds, swansea @ +160.

starting a 8:30 is the early game of the FA cup.aston villa, even though visiting is a good play @ -130.later on chelsea is a heavy favorite, you'd have to give away 1.5-2 goals to turn a profit. i personally played an early dutch league game, started @ 6:30 AM, taking ajax with the only lined they offered, something like -265.i went a little heavy. some early serie A action is worth noting.all these clubs are worth a look for wins and varying odds-cagliari(the best odds), sampdoria, and my personal play palermo. finally-there is another typo discrepancy in the over/under line for one of the spanish league games, so if you read my blog and can get on this before it is fixed-bet the ranch as did i

i missed some earlier action in bundesliga 2 & energie cotbus came out kicking butt. well the early action didn' pan out, ho-hum. bundesliga - werder bremen, hamburg, and wolfsburg -all big favorites and worthy of a play. schalke is a personal fave club of mine and even though they are visitors i'd throw some action their way. in other english action-nott forest v. swansea/man i love both these clubs but the forest should get the nod here.also like notts county, rochdale(way lots), and with some very respectable odds sheff w.i know i'm forgetting others. french league - not to miss auxerre @ -115 and socheaux @ +130.really like the 1st matchup, the 2nd could be draw material. may be more later, especially if odds go up for some austrian soccer.

friday pitch action 03/05

first up the bundesliga 2 - worth a gamble on all fronts are all the home clubs.hansa rostock & oberhausen @ noon and my personal favorite with nice odds(-105) is fortuna dusseldorf.these fellas have been kickin' it lately.their opponent is no slouch but they have been in such good form lately they are worth the play.

latwer on there are some other matches in serie b italy & romanian leagues but i'm gonna lay low there as i forsee draws as the potential outcomes.i'm learning some lessons from the argentine league.

last up in the poruguese liga i lke uno leiria(sp?) for the win and what really is the play of the day, which i see some have already jumped on, is the over in this match, which is set @ 1.i realize the portuguese play a defensive brand of soccer but only one goal.anything but a 0-0 draw and you will not lose- a push your worse case scenario.i'm playing it heavy!

well, the only pitch offerings come from south of the equator-argentina, long a powerhouse of very good soccer.i've been following the premier league, i forget what it's called offhand since the beginning of the new season and have had mixed results when making a play.the one thing i can guarantee on these matches is a propensity for under plays.the odds @ U 2.5 are consistently in the -130 to -140 range.there, some $$$$ can be had.the difficulty is in picking winners.of 10 games i have played, 7 have ended in draws-anathema to the betting man in soccer on the moneyline.rarely will be goals offered or given as the clubs are so evenly matched.let's look at todays lineup:

chicarita is @ +110, the best odds of the day

the remainder of the favorites also have some tough/long odds - newell old boys @ +130, river plate @ +140 and banfield @ + 130 also.you are geting the picture hey? so a bet  on the faves and they do win pays handsomely, but chances are very, very good a draw will happen.may the gaucho be with you!!

international friendly  wednesday

it's friendly day on the pitch, so proceed at your own risk.you never know how seriously they will be taking the game or just who they will be fielding.i already made a play on cyprus v. iceland @ +100 and lost to the draw-what a surprise.some games of special interest however:

spain @ +130, i don't get this line.italy @ -115 is very attractive and i really like argentina @ +200.

mexico is a sure thing with crazy fave odds, so give up the 1.5 goals @ -145(still) to make some points.they should win handily

finally i like egypt v. england.the brits are heavily favored so take the goals(1.5) @ -155 for what i see a sure winner.

another lite action day-

a coupla english action games i like, one of which some of y'all jumped allover as the line went way outta whack.notts county to win on the ML is @ +220 and that is a mistake.i liked them when it was -220 or giving up a goal.needless to say, bet the ranch on notts county with this egregious error.also like bristol rovers both the moneyline ang giving up a goal.

in the international friendly game between brazil/irelan i feel the over is a good play.

i'm taking the home club in the czech league just for action.i'll prolly stick with the homies in the other 2 offerings: achen in bundesliga 2 and definitely the play of the day in the portuguese liga - nacionals.
